The Diabetes Control Center is an outpatient practice in Orangeburg, South Carolina, focused on diabetes, thyroid disorders, and related endocrine conditions.
Charles H. Raine, Jr., M.D., has devoted more than 20 years to the treatment of diabetes and thyroid disease. He previously served as an adjunct professor of medicine in the Endocrine Division at the Medical University of South Carolina.
The practice emphasizes individualized treatment, prevention of complications, practical patient education, and thoughtful use of glucose sensors, insulin pumps, and other diabetes technology. We also recognize the emotional and day-to-day burdens of living with diabetes and aim to address them as part of care.
